What kept Romeo and Juliet apart?
Besides, who is Romeo and Juliet what is going on between the families of the two?
In spite of the feud going on between these two prominent families, Romeo Montaguefalls in love with Juliet Capulet at a masquerade. The two feuding families are the Capulets and the Montagues. They are both very affluent and wealthy in the city, and both are equally trying to put the other in its place.
Likewise, why were Romeo and Juliet not allowed to be together? Romeo and Juliet are actually not in love. One reason Romeo and Juliet aren't in love, is because they're both searching escapism. Romeo isn't in love with Juliet, because he is still in love with Rosaline, and trying to get over her. Minutes before meeting Juliet, Romeo was stressing over Rosaline's unrequited love.
In this manner, what could have been done to avoid the tragic ending?
1. The houses of Montague and Capulet should have agreed and reconciled at some point out of the many times they were called by Prince Escalus to settle their feud. This would have prevented the street sword fights and further deaths of their loved ones.
Who is most responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death?
