Does Rover provide insurance?
Keeping this in view, does Rover include insurance?
2 answers. There are NO policies to protect the sitter. Their “premium insurance” only covers the dog in emergencies, so you are paying for someone else to have pet insurance. Rover.com has insurance for their sitters that they pay for out of each service.
Similarly, what is the rover guarantee? The injuries or damages must result from care provided during a Rover stay or walk, and the Guarantee reimburses in the event the sitter or walker is unwilling or unable to pay those costs. In certain cases, the Guarantee may also be used to reimburse for injuries to resident pets owned by sitters or dog walkers.
Beside this, what is Rover service fee?
Pet owners are charged a service fee amounting to 15% of the booking total. The fee cannot exceed £49/booking. This amount is refundable should the booking be canceled by either the sitter or the owner, in accordance with the sitter's cancellation policy.
Does Rover cost money to join?
Signing up for a Rover account as a dog owner is absolutely free. Depending on what services you choose to offer as a pet sitter or dog walker, you may be charged a small fee to cover a background check before getting started.
